At the regional Rubik's Cube solution contest in Wichita, KS on on April 12, 2018, SPX students wowed the competition by solving 25 cubes in 4 minutes and 11 seconds, beating the 2nd place high school team by over a minute! Team - 1st Place Middle School Division Team - 1st place Overall Individual Awards - Middle School Division Gracie Kinnaman- 1st Place 25.2 seconds Tanner Cole- 2nd Place 27.7 seconds Kevin Nguyen- 3rd Place 37.7 seconds Overall - SPX students placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
