A little about myself. 

 My name is Tara Mitchell.  Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I have a bachelor's degree in Early childhood Education with a minor in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University.  I have been a pre-k teacher for seventeen years and this is my seventh year here at St. Pius X.  

 
I am married to my high school sweetheart Robbie Mitchell. We met at Bishop Kelley and married 8 years later. We have 3 girls named Mia, Micah and Maclynn who also attend St. Pius X.

Here are some fun facts about me:
*I love reading and music.
*I love going to the movies with my family.

*I love animals of all kinds.

*I love t-shirts with funny sayings or references.

*I love the beach and Disney World (anything Disney) but love to travel and explore new places.

*I am a little crazy in love with Christmas and I have more than one Christmas tree, like three and plan on adding another one or possibly two.
*My favorite snacks are chips and guacamole and I also love chocolate and gummies!

There will be wonderful things taking place this year. Throughout the year, we hope to make learning a fun and exciting experience for each child, as well as, creating a desire to learn and a love for school!
