I have worked in Catholic education for over 23 years.  My career began as a third grade teacher.  I taught for three years before moving to Tulsa to serve as an assistant principal in the diocese.  I then became the curriculum specialist.  For the past 10 years I have been at St. Pius X School, where I began as a middle school social studies teacher, before moving to third grade.  I was the assistant principal before becoming the principal in 2018.  

 

I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas.  I received both my B.Ed. and my M.Ed at Washburn University. I moved to Tulsa when I married my husband.  We have two children, both who attended St. Pius X.  We love the close-knit community of St. Pius X!

 

Being in the community as parishioner, parent, teacher and administrator has given me a unique perspective of the culture, strengths, and needs of the school. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
