Welcome to 4th Grade Mrs. Adams

Theresa Adams

I graduated from Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin with a Bachelors Degree in Education.  I received my Masters in Administration from Northeastern State University.  I spent 3 years in Administration at St. John School in Bartlesville and 14 years as Assistant Principal at St. Pius X.  I have worked at St. Pius X for 33 years.  My husband Mike and I love to travel.  I spend most of my travels either at baseball games or in Massachusetts on Cape Cod.

I currently teach 4th grade.  I teach Religion, Math, English and Reading.  After being in administration   for 14 years, I decided to go back to the classroom.  I thoroughly enjoy the daily interaction with my students.  It is  very rewarding to see students’ growth day to day.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe teaching in a Catholic School is a service to the Church and School Community.  It is a teacher’s responsibility to follow the philosophy of the Church:  To communicate Christ’s message in word and action.”  Students need to not only hear God’s word from the teacher, but she it in his/her actions.
