Hello! My name is Katie Blum and this is my 10th year teaching at St. Pius X, and my 14th year overall.   I teach all of the middle school science and an 8th grade homeroom teacher with Mrs. Katy Roberson.  We enjoy watching the students grow over their time in middle school.  Along with teaching, Katy and I are the sponsors for the 8th graders and all of their activities throughout the year.  I am the coordinator the DMSAA volleyball league. I have also coached volleyball and track over the years here.   I attended St. Pius as a student graduating from here in 1994.  I went to Bishop Kelley High School and Oklahoma State University.  I have been a life long member of the parish and have loved growing up here. 

 

My Philosophy:

I want all of my students to have a fun time learning the basic fundamentals of science.  As they grow in their knowledge and love science I want us to learn from each other and grow with each other.
