St. Pius X School is excited to announce we'll be entering a float in the 2017 Tulsa Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 9th at 2pm. Our float theme, "SPX School 60 Years - Peace on Earth," will feature an animated Angel of the Lord, little angels, shepherds and students walking alongside handing out treats to the crowd. We're asking for help from our School & Church community to make this float a success.
Here are some ways you can help:
Ride the Float: Spots for 6 angels and 4 shepherds (grades K-5) will be auctioned for $25 each at the Auction November 11th. Volunteers to walk alongside the float should contact [email protected].
Help with Costumes: We are looking for donations and/or help assembling angel and shepherd costumes. Please contact [email protected] if you can help.
Donate for materials: The cost to enter and build the float is estimated around $750. If you’d like to sponsor the float or donate toward that cost, send funds to the School or Parish office marked “Christmas Float," or contact [email protected] about sponsorship signage opportunities.
Building Volunteers: We're looking for volunteers to attend "build" days at the McKinstry home in Sperry. These hours will count toward Care & Share hours for parents. If you'd like to help, contact Christy Brown at [email protected].
