Catholic Schools Week
We celebrate Catholic Schools with fun activities like these:
Saturday 1/27:
Wear uniforms to Mass this weekend. Students who attend mass in uniform will be given a Free Dress on Monday, 1/29! Please take a picture of your student in uniform and send to your homeroom teacher.
**Optional - if you post your child's picture on social media and tag St. Pius X School with #SPXDefenders, your child's name will be in a drawing for ONE week of FREE DRESS!
Sunday 1/28: New Family Open House

New Family Open House: 11:30am-1:30pm. Spanish interpreters will be available.
Monday 1/29: Celebrate Community
- Dress for the Day: FREE DRESS
- School-wide collection of hand lotion, socks, candy, ChapStick, and small stuffed animals to create mini "Glad Bags" to give to nursing home residents. *Donations accepted in the box in front of Mrs. Glover's room.
- Spelling Bee: 1:30pm in the gym
Tuesday 1/30: Celebrate Students
- Dress for the Day: "Your Favorite..." Day (wear your favorite color, animal, team, character, etc.)
- Talent Show Presentation: 9:15-11:00am.
- 8th Grade vs. Staff Volleyball Game: 1:20pm
- No Homework Day!
Wednesday 1/31: Celebrate Nation
- Dress for the Day: Patriotic Dress
- Game Day: 9:45-11am (rotations in each classroom)
Thursday 2/1: Celebrate Vocations
- Dress for the Day: Wear Liturgical Colors (wear green, purple, pink, white gold, or red)
- Prayer Service: 9:30-10:30am in the church
- Catholic Knowledge Bee: 1:30pm in the gym
Friday 2/2: Celebrating Teachers, Families, and Volunteers
- Dress for the Day: Athleisure Wear
- Dance Party! (PreK-5th at 9:30am, 6th-8th at 2pm)
- Motivational Activities in each classroom.
Additional Activities:
- Book Fair!
