  • We do not charge late fines, but we do appreciate the books being returned on time. If your child needs to keep the book longer, they can ask to renew it in the library.

Elementary Library

Preschool  – 5th grades have scheduled library times two days a week.  One library time is set aside to give the students the opportunity to browse the shelves, share book suggestions or check out books. A planned lesson is taught during the other scheduled time. Lessons vary from teaching library skills, using literature to reinforce skills from core subject areas and fostering a love of reading!

Middle School Library

6th-8th grade students have a middle school library in the commons area for students to borrow a book at any time for research or for fun!

Check-out

K-5th grade students may have 2 books or 1 Family Reading Bag checked out on their card. Middle School students have the option to request to check out more than 2 books at a time. Books are due after two weeks, but can be renewed.  If a book is lost or damaged, patrons may either replace the book or pay a replacement fee of $18 for hardbacks or $8 for paperbacks.

* Preschool students do not check-out books, however, parents are welcome to check out for them.
