My name is Tara Mitchell.  Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I have a bachelor's degree in Early childhood Education with a minor in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University.  I have been a pre-k teacher for 20+ years and over 10 years here at St. Pius X.  

 
I am married to my high school sweetheart Robbie Mitchell. We met at Bishop Kelley and married 8 years later. We have 3 girls named Mia, Micah and MacLynn. Mia and Micah attended Pius and are currently at BK while MacLynn is still here at Pius.

There will be wonderful things taking place this year. Throughout the year, we hope to make learning a fun and exciting experience for each child, as well as, creating a desire to learn and a love for school!
