Welcome to my middle school social studies class. This is my 12th year at St. Pius X and my 11th year to teach in the middle school. I have been teaching social studies in the middle school for 9 years. Each grade level focuses on different subjects. In 6th grade we learn about the geography and culture of the Western Hemisphere, in 7th grade we learn about the geography and culture of the Eastern Hemisphere, and in 8th grade we learn about American History from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War.

I have been a member since birth and am a graduate of St. Pius X and Bishop Kelley High School. I then graduated from Northeastern State University with a degree in elementary education and added a certification in middle level social studies.

I have been married for 12 years to my husband Scott, and have been blessed with two little girls. Kelley is five years old and currently a kindergarten student at St. Pius, and my daughter Kara is two.  

Most of my hobbies revolve around sports. I coached basketball and volleyball at St. Pius for multiple years, and enjoy watching as many games as possible too.  I also supervise the Middle School Student Council activities throughout the year.
