Hola!! My name is Natalie Velasquez. I am a proud alum and am so happy to be back at St. Pius. Although this is my first year at St. Pius, this is my ninth year teaching middle school Spanish. I enjoy teaching students about the many different Spanish speaking countries and the diverse culture. 

 

I graduated school from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. I consider two places home: Oklahoma and Puerto Rico. Growing up, my family would send me to Puerto Rico for the summers so I could experience the culture, language,and spend time with family. My husband is from Panama, and we have two beautiful girls. Natalia is in first grade and Camila is three years old.

I love spending time with my family, traveling to different places, and learning about different cultures.
