Hello Defenders or Future Defenders!

 

I was born in Amarillo, TX and grew up in the Texas Panhandle. I moved to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma State University where I earned my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. This is my 9th year at St. Pius X School as the Communications Director and Auction Coordinator, however, I have been a parent at SPX since 2013. Both of my children began here in the PreK 3 programs. Harper, 14, is a SPX alum and a Freshman at Cascia Hall and Hank, 11, is in 6th grade. When I am not working, I am cheering on my kids at their volleyball, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse games (or driving them to practices, not my favorite past time). When we are not at a sports event, we are home chasing our two fur babies - Willie (Nelson) is a 4-year old Italian Spinone and Moose (Bark-ley) is a 2-year old English Bulldog. They are a mess and our house is a circus most of the time, but it's never boring :)

Any extra time is spent listening to music, I especially love listening to Live music - I try to go to as many concerts as I possibly can!

 

We are "Pius Lifers" and have loved every minute of our time here! The teachers, curriculum, and philosophy are top notch and have prepared our children for the next step in life and in their education. The community of people is what I cherish most; it's not just a school, it's an extended family!
